Anna Maria Island is the perfect place to go green! Ditch the car and get around island style! Hire a golf cart or bike, hop on the free trolley bus, or simply take a leisurely stroll. Or take to the waterways. It really is a different pace of life here, and we encourage you to let it completely take you over!
Explore Anna Maria Island
One of the best options to get around is the Anna Maria Trolley Bus service. The Trolley is completely free to use and manages 14 stops, every 2 to 4 blocks, between its route from Anna Maria City Pier in the City on the north side, to Coquina Beach, on the south side in Bradenton Beach. And it runs from 6 a.m until 11 p.m every day of the week, with pick ups every half hour!
There are so many awesome places to eat on Anna Maria Island. From fine dining to great sandwiches, to take out, to private catering. We also have delivery on the island, so you don’t even need to leave your rental! We share with you some of our favorite places, with something for everyone, to suit every occasion!
Whether you’re looking for atmospheric, jazz, or even some rock n roll, there is always live music happening on the island and we want to share with you some of the best places to go enjoy the music, the vibe and great food!
We have some stunning wildlife on Anna Maria. Manatees, turtles and dolphins are in abundance in the oceans and the canals. Get out on a kayak and glide amongst, them. Coquina Baywalk and Robinson Preserve are two spectacular preservation parks, where you can hike or meander through on paddleboards and learn about our eco-system!
There is lots of wonderful history on Anna Maria. Learn about the first settlers on the island and the development of the island, a number of historic buildings have been preserved to protect our heritage. The Historical Society Museum is a real must visit!
Pine Avenue is the main commercial street of Anna Maria. Due to its sustainability projects its know as the ‘greenest little main street in the US’. But here is also where you will find some of our fabulous stores! High end clothing boutiques, gorgeous home ware stores, jewelry stores, gift shops, bakeries and art galleries, there really is so much shopping to be done!
Beach & Water Fun!
You cannot come to Anna Maria Island, and not enjoy our beautiful waters. Whether you want to get out on the ocean, meander through the canals or simply enjoy your own private pool at your Pineapplefish home, there really is so much to enjoy. Jet skiing, parasailing, diving, deep sea fishing, paddleboarding and kayaking, there is something for every day of the week!

There is absolutely no reason not to keep up with your healthy living whilst your here. There are a number of great gyms, that cater for short term visitors, whether your looking for gym classes, free-weights or equipment and we also have a yoga studio and beach yoga.

Easter, Christmas, July 4th, Veterans Days, and Thanksgiving are popular times, and what a great way to bring all your loved ones together and enjoy the beautiful weather and beaches.
