Live music

There is so much great live music around Anna Maria. Enjoy a beer or two and some great food with some of our favorites.

Whether you’re looking for atmospheric, jazz, or even some rock n roll, there is always live music happening on the island. And here are some of our favorite places to go.

Harry’s Grill, is a great place for some awesome and regular live music. Located at the North End on Gulf Drive, Harry’s has been voted ‘Best Bar and Grill on Anna Maria Island’ by Readers of the Sun, 2017 and 2019 and the Best Burger on the island 2019! Live music starts at 7pm every Monday, Tuesday and Friday throughout the year. And also, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays in season. Great food, great drinks and a great patio is the perfect place to sit out under the stars for a perfect island evening!

The Ugly Grouper is a real fun place to go. Another great open air bar on Holmes Beach, there are a few island style games to keep kids entertained, withe great live music regularly playing on the outdoor stage, the largest on the island! The food is really, really good, particularly their signature Grouper tacos, the drinks menu extensive and we absolutely have to recommend the Big Ugly Mary! It’s always a good place to go to watch a game, with 11 TV sets in the dining area! To find it? Just look out for the huge metal Grouper on Holmes Beach!

Enjoy a Guiness at The Feckled Fin, an Irish Bar and Music Hall in Holmes Beach. A great place to eat with some Irish fiar on the menu, grab a beer and dance the night away. Check out their music calendar here.

Island Time Bar and Grill with the Bridge Street Bistro upstairs, is a great place to visit on Bridge Street. Upstairs, the menu is refined, perfect for dinner and downstairs brings real island flair, with great sandwiches, beach/street food and tacos, set in an open-air bar, with patio with live music almost every night. Check out their calendar to see whats on!

For amazing seafood, in a nautically themed cottage, the Blue Marlin on Bridge Street will make you feel like you’re in a seafood house in coastal Maine. And every Friday and Saturday is music night!

The Bridge Tender Inn and Dockside Bar on Bridge Street in Bradenton Beach is a real favorite! Serving fresh seafood, great appetizers, delicious entrees, munchies and sandwiches in a casual setting. Eat inside the restaurant or dockside tiki bar and you you can even arrive by boat! With live music almost daily! And a great quiz on a Wednesday!
